Human Rights Defender and Women’s Rights Activist
Activities I carried out in Afghanistan:
With the aim of serving Afghan women, despite many security challenges, I established a fitness club for women.
At the same time, together with a group of friends and using my personal resources, I provided support and services for women.
I was a candidate for parliament to defend women’s rights, but unfortunately, due to problems that arose, I was not successful.
For one year, I worked as the manager of the women’s fitness club under the Olympic Directorate.
For four years and eight months, I worked with the Americans in the fight against narcotics.
Because I always wanted to serve women around the world and raise my voice for human rights and women’s rights, I myself became a victim of violence. I was attacked with acid, and in this incident about 80% of my face was severely damaged, and I lost one of my eyes.
However, I still stand in this struggle and move forward stronger and with greater determination.
